JOB TITLE: Automated Test Engineer

LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX

PAY RATE: $68.51/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Interim Secret required (Active Secret preferred; not required to start)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Design, integrate, verify, and validate ITAs, harnesses, and other test equipment

• Integrate ITAs with common core test stations

• Develop and execute test, verification, and validation plans

• Support operation, calibration, and maintenance of production test stations

• Conduct root cause analysis for unit failures and recommend corrective actions

Requirements:

• Interim Secret required (Active Secret preferred; not required to start)

• Bachelor's in STEM + 5 years' experience, or Master's + 3 years

• Proficiency with LabWindows CVI , TestStand , LabVIEW ; MATLAB and scripting a plus

• Experience with production test stations, electrical testing, validation plans, and user acceptance testing

• 1 4 years' experience in power electronics, production, and test engineering processes

• Strong understanding of schematics, electro-optical principles, and test documentation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Up to 20% domestic travel

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with lab/test equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators)

• Experience in electrical design (cables, circuit boards)

• Strong troubleshooting skills with ITAs and test equipment

• Ability to work independently and in team environments
